WE BELIEVE:

"To uplift is a noble action. In uplifting, we unavoidably uplift ourselves because in lifting the energy upward, everything from beginning to end moves in this direction. With this noble upliftment comes also the quality of tolerance so much needed. If we introduce tolerance only conventionally and superficially, nothing but hypocrisy can be created. Only through noble upliftment of the spirit, through incessantly realized labor comes this wonderful guest, tolerance. Precisely this quality, when introduced naturally, creates the smile of wisdom."
Nicholas Roerich

OUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION:

"Anonymous Creativity – Have you ever thought about it? We want to be famous as a writer, as a poet, as a painter, as a politician, as a singer, or what you will. Why? Because we really don’t love what we are doing. If you loved to sing, or to paint, or to write poems – if you really loved it – you would not be concerned with whether you are famous or not. To want to be famous is tawdry, trivial, stupid, it has no meaning; but, because we don’t love what we are doing, we want to enrich ourselves with fame. Our present education is rotten because it teaches us to love success and not what we are doing. The result has become more important than the action.

You know, it is good to hide your brilliance under a bushel, to be anonymous, to love what you are doing and not to show off. It is good to be kind without a name. That does not make you famous, it does not cause your photograph to appear in the newspapers. Politicians do not come to your door. You are just a creative human being living anonymously, and in that there is richness and great beauty."
Jiddu Krishnamurti, one of the greatest teachers of the 20th century who considered truth unimpeachable –
a "pathless land" that could not be encompassed by any single teaching.

"ART will unify all humanity. Art is one, indivisible. Art has its many branches, yet all are one. Art is the manifestation of the coming synthesis. Art is for all. The gates of the sacred source must be wide open for everybody, and the light of art will influence numerous hearts with a new love to bring art to the people where it belongs. We should not only have museums, theatres, universities, public libraries, railway stations and hospitals, but even prisons decorated and beautified. Then we shall have no more prisons. This formula, which now belongs to the museum and the stage, must enter everyday life. The sign of beauty will open all sacred gates.

Filled with LOVE, create, create, and CREATE. In this constant creation, you shall attain the wisdom of joy. You will find the day too short to express that to which your spirit prompts you. In the name of broad understanding, you will begin to approach the realization of synthesis. The conquest of beauty and knowledge will be consummated for you not as mere details but as sacred signs of the synthesis of evolution. In your creation, you will always realize the highest responsibility before the great infinite. This responsibility will be the healing corrective in the transformation of your entire life. This realization of responsibility will help you once more to abstain from condemnation. Verily you shall find no time for condemnation and negation. To create, to help and to give, this will saturate all your being and, in spite of all difficulties of darkness and ignorance, will transform your life into constant. This creative joy will bring you the daily bread."
Nicholas Roerich, Messenger of Beauty, unifying humanity through art, beauty and culture.

“Creative efforts cause progressive changes in those who are involved in the efforts, and in those who come in contact with the objects of creative efforts. A true art object, which is produced by creative efforts, evokes efforts toward universality, purity, simplicity, cooperation. It expands the consciousness. It brings changes within the soul of man which enable him to see greater meaning and beauty in life…In creating on higher levels, you transmit through the object of your art the same frequency you are in. Those who come in contact with your art feel the creative wave raising them up to a new level of awareness. This is how change occurs in those who come in contact with your higher creative expressions.”
Torkom Saraydarian, an extraordinary human being, great teacher, author, lecturer, and composer of sacred music

“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”
Scott Adams, American Cartoonist

“Science and art belong to the whole world, and before them vanish the barriers of nationality.”
Goethe, German poet, novelist, playwright, courtier, and natural philosopher.

“Art does not solve problems but makes us aware of their existence. It opens our eyes to see and our brain to imagine.”
Magdalena Abakanowicz, Polish Sculptor
